Terms & Conditions

By accessing or using EngageLeague ("the Platform", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Platform. These terms apply to all users, including hosts and engagers.

EngageLeague is a social engagement platform that enables X (Twitter) content creators ("Hosts") to create competitive leaderboards tracking follower engagement on their posts. Followers ("Engagers") may join these leaderboards and earn rewards based on verified engagement activity including likes, retweets, replies, and quotes.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 18 years of age
• You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• You are not located in a jurisdiction where participation in crypto-based competitions is prohibited
• You will comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations

Host accounts require a valid email address and connection of an active X (Twitter) account. Engager accounts require a valid email address and are subject to identity verification including connection of an X account and, where applicable, a compatible cryptocurrency wallet. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

We reserve the right to approve, suspend, or terminate accounts at our sole discretion, particularly where we suspect bot activity, fraudulent behavior, or violation of these Terms.

As a Host, you agree to:

• Only submit X posts and accounts that you own or have authorization to use
• Set prize pools in good faith and have the means to fulfill promised rewards
• Not use the Platform to manipulate X's algorithm or violate X's Terms of Service
• Comply with all applicable prize, sweepstakes, and competition laws in your jurisdiction
• Not create leaderboards designed to mislead, deceive, or harm engagers

EngageLeague is not responsible for prize distribution. Prize fulfillment is the sole responsibility of the Host. We strongly recommend Hosts escrow prize funds before launching any leaderboard.

As an Engager, you agree to:

• Only use your own genuine X account — sharing, purchasing, or borrowing accounts is prohibited
• Engage authentically — automated likes, retweets, or replies using bots, scripts, or third-party automation tools are strictly prohibited
• Provide accurate wallet information for prize receipt
• Not attempt to manipulate scores, rankings, or leaderboard outcomes

Any violation of these rules may result in immediate disqualification, account suspension, and forfeiture of any earned rewards.

Hosts must purchase credits to create leaderboards. Credits are non-refundable once consumed. Current pricing is displayed within the Platform and may change with notice. We accept payments via cryptocurrency (SOL, USDC, and others as listed). All payment transactions are final. We are not responsible for errors caused by incorrect wallet addresses provided by users.

The Platform, including its design, code, and content, is owned by EngageLeague and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any content you submit (such as X post URLs) but grant us a non-exclusive license to display and process that content for the purpose of operating the Platform.

You may not:

• Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to interact with the Platform or X
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the Platform
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions
• Use the Platform for money laundering, fraud, or any illegal purpose
• Harass, threaten, or harm other users
• Post or link to content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes third-party rights

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that engagement data from X will always be accurate or timely. Engagement data is fetched from the X API and may be subject to delays, rate limits, or inaccuracies outside our control.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EngageLeague shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Credits remaining at termination due to a violation are forfeited.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
